Our stay was fantastic! The charming rustic decor made us feel at home. Loved the free guided tour of the mansion and the cozy outdoor seating areas, perfect for a quiet evening. The history really comes alive here. we spotted a cannonball embedded in a wall, which was super cool! Plus, the massive rooms gave us so much space to relax.

I had an unexpected stay while driving from Dallas to Atlanta. The room was large and had a nice setup, including a sitting area and a king bed. The bathroom was spacious with a nice tub and shower. Breakfast was served fresh and delicious. I learned about the local history during my visit, which added to the experience. It helped me feel connected to American culture.
There were some concerns about the stairs, as they felt old and steep. The communication about breakfast options was not clear, leaving me unsure.

Charming Stay Rich in History
I stayed for 1 night in a Deluxe Double Room with Bath, and the property was truly beautiful and historically rich. The staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attentiveness, making our stay feel special. The room itself was spacious, featuring a large bathroom that added to the charm. One unique highlight was a Native American mound on the property perfect for stargazing. The only downside was that the restaurant could offer more variety for breakfast.

The Centennial Room was an extraordinary retreat with a spacious parlor, a king four-poster bed, and two fireplaces. Breakfast was a delightful treat, featuring homemade preserves alongside hearty sausage, eggs, and biscuits. Exploring the property’s history added a rich layer to the experience, making every moment feel significant. However, initial navigation through dimly lit stairs created an anxious atmosphere, and the age of the building led to some creaky floors that raised concerns about stability.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
